Welcome to Women in Tech Malta meetup!

This group is for women who work with, or have an interest in, Technology. We are here to support each other, to have interesting conversations and to make new friends!

We have invited some very interesting women to do a Panel Discussion with us on topics that will bring Technology closer to all women.

Our Panel will consist of following women

Louise Mifsud - Microsoft Partner Account Consultant at KPMG Crimsonwing

Business Operations Management Consultant High-performing operations-management executive with expertise in building and optimising organizational processes, measurement systems and infrastructure to maximise business results. With over 20 years experience within the corporate ICT industry Louise is a business development strategist who transforms strategic plans into workable solutions.

Francesca Fenech Conti - LES Manager at Loqus Business Intelligence

Francesca is an IT, retail and online industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, starting off at Deloitte and Touché IT Consultants managing one of the largest IT Training Centres on the island at the time. Francesca is the founder of Women for Women a women only facebook group with almost 30,000 members where discussions range from investments to infertility, breaking down gender stereotypes and the glass ceiling and of course women in tech.

Beata Young - the founder of #WomenOnIT

After coming to Malta in 2016 she quickly established herself as a leading digital strategist, advising the government eSkills Foundation, mentoring Celuna (winner of 2018 JAYE Startup competition) and judging JAYE Young Entrepreneurs. Having worked with major global brands like Facebook, GoDaddy through her previous initiatives across the world, Beata combines the best of different sectors in innovative, attention grabbing yet durable business collaborations based on the Cindy Gallop maxim: Shared values+shared actions=shared profit.

Kristel Viilup - Front End Developer and Manager of Engagement Group at Kindred Group

Kristel is working as a Frontend Developer at Kindred and is the Engagement Group lead in Kindred Stockholm office. She has previously worked as a Quality Engineer in companies like Swedbank and Skype and has 12 years of experience in Technology. She is passionate about working with people and making sure that everyone in the team feels good. On her free time she likes to read about psychology and do handicrafts - create jewelry, knit, draw etc. She likes to acquire as many skills as possible.

 

Please join us if you want to listen to these brilliant talented women to share their stories and experiences. We wish to have diverse audience! You don't need to work in Technology or even be a woman to attend. Everyone is welcome.

We will offer drinks and dinner for all attendees! Due to Dinner, we have limited amount of seats available.
