Our open-plan Wimbledon offices employ around 350 people of over 30 different nationalities. We are spread over seven floors in one of the tallest buildings in Wimbledon – venture to the rooftop terrace for breathtaking views across the capital.
We perform a wide range of roles within marketing; software engineering; data analytics; project management; legal; finance; HR and more. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we enjoy modern facilities including an on-site café; excellent kitchen facilities (complete with ice cream machine!); table football; pool; table tennis, poker; and all the latest gaming consoles.
Our entertainment committee organises regular social events so you’ll get the opportunity to join various teams and groups - football, the running club, the book club, poker and squash are all very popular at the moment! You can also take advantage of Kindred’s wellbeing allowance which is our contribution towards a health club membership of your choice.
Add to this Friday Breakfast club; a language exchange; a running club; golf days at Betchworth Park; and a mountain bike challenge, not to forget lunchtime mindful mediation sessions and you’ll be very well looked after.
Location and lifestyle in London
London has a buzzing nightlife and café culture, plenty of international eateries, along with interesting street markets, bars and art galleries. Then there’s beautiful Richmond Park with its deer population, extensive Hyde Park and, a bit further out of town, the famous array of trees and flora in Kew Gardens. If football, concerts or both are your passion, the iconic Wembley Stadium can’t fail to impress.
With over 300 languages spoken in London, you’ll find a different cultural vibe on just about every street corner; that’s almost the same international feel as in the Kindred offices themselves!
Most of our Kindred team lives in or around the office in Wimbledon, southwest London. Wimbledon is split into two sections - the “village” and the “town”, the high street forming part of the original medieval village with its handsome period buildings and a good choice of bistros and pubs. The area is great for families with its excellent amenities, including good schools, shops, health clubs, theatres, nightclubs, cinemas and much more. And don’t forget the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, famed for hosting the annual Wimbledon tennis tournament. Wimbledon Common, one of London’s largest areas of common land, is a favourite place to take a wander or have a picnic.
Wimbledon is easy to get to on the District line of the London Underground and via overland rail links across the city. The office is just a five-minute walk from the tube and rail stations, but if you prefer pedal power, we have bike storage and changing facilities once you get here. Central London is easy to get to at just about 20 minutes’ tube ride away.
