To support our continued growth, A new exciting opportunity is now available for a Business Analyst to join the Kindred Data - BI & Reporting team.


Right now, Kindred is in the process of taking our data platform to the next level. Our vision is to support Kindred to become the most data-driven gambling company in world.


Data Business Analysts team plays a pivotal role in the delivery of strategic data projects from supporting pre-project activities, elicitation and requirements analysis and management, implementation and following up on benefits realisation. They broker the communication between varied stakeholders and our Data teams trying to ensure the agreed solution effectively satisfies the business need.


We need a skilful Business analyst who works smarter and enabling using data in new ways to provide a better and unique experience for our customers, who excels at managing business change and enabling technical delivery. You need to be emotionally intelligent, with outstanding communication and stakeholder management


Above all, you'll have a passion for business analysis and the value this role plays in delivering data solutions.


What you will do



  • Engaging with business and technical teams like Data and Analytics to extract user stories from business requirements and transform these into technical tasks.
  • Work as a business partner with stakeholders to tackle business challenges
  • Understand and get the most out of the data products by partnering with stakeholders by leveraging data capabilities
  • Own Stakeholder specific analyses end-to-end: requirements collection, project planning with data management, execution and follow up.
  • Work closely with the business to solidify or, where needed, challenge business objectives
  • Analyse customer journeys and business processes and identify optimization opportunities using our data solutions
  • Work closely with Data technical development team and architecture to translate business needs into effective solutions
  • Work closely with Data Product Manager and Line Leads, ensuring that business priorities and requirements are effectively communicated in a timely manner
  • Manage change of requirements and/or solutions in response to changing circumstances to ensure business agility
  • Proactively undertake, lead and galvanise activities to support project objectives and timely delivery
  • Provide consultancy on the feasibility and value of ideas in the early stages of idea development



Your experience


  • Experience in creating business case documentation and functional specifications.
  • Good understanding of DWH/Data engineering principles and practices
  • Previous Agile experience 
  • Proven ability in typical BA skill set – requirements engineering, modelling techniques, UAT, analysis techniques etc. 
  • Experience in facilitating workshops 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in wireframing/prototyping 
  • Flexible and pragmatic approach to methodologies and processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Can-do attitude and adaptability to changing circumstances
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • IT and/or Business related Bachelor or Master's big plus
  • Important to have a passion for continuous learning and improvement
