Creative Designer

Role objectives


Produce and support the delivery of design assets for all relevant communication channels.



Key Responsibilities


  • Produce visually engaging, on-brand, assets that are executed consistently across all channels including, but not limited to; emails, onsite promotion pages, takeovers, landing pages, animated banners and SoMe assets for acquisition/retention digital marketing campaigns.
  • Working with copywriters to produce effective ideas for promotions and campaigns.
  • A good understanding of all the brand guidelines, and how to implement them.
  • Working collaboratively with wider design, UX teams, the design leads and account managers to ensure consistent quality.
  • Building positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure creative produced is on brief.
  • Accountable for all assigned tasks for delivery through all required channels.
  • Working with peers across the Marketing Creative and Brand Strategy Teams to deliver big campaign ideas and new creative thinking.
  • Working closely with Traffic management to ensure SLA's are met.
  • Managing daily tasks in a deadline-driven environment including ad hoc digital support when required.
  • Stay up to date with innovation in Design and champion the skillset within the team.
  • Regularly update the Senior Designer and the Design Lead to assure transparency and high quality of deliverables.


Skills and experience


  • Circa three years of web design experience and/or formal design training and a strong and proven portfolio that demonstrates best-practice design.
  • Intermediate skills in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects.
  • Good level of photo manipulation and retouching skills.
  • Effective digital design creative solutions with end-user in mind.
  • Creative thinking and attentional to detail/crafting.
  • Good knowledge of responsive web development with mobile and tablet in mind.
  • Ability to creatively present design solutions, to receive and implement constructive feedback.
  • A pro-active, ‘can-do' attitude with the ability to take the initiative.
  • Competent in implementing of creative concepts and copy.
  • Eager to proactively build skillset, evolve and push new and creative ideas that raise expectations.
  • Help in fostering a positive work environment.
  • Bring fresh and innovative design ideas, providing meaningful insight to enhance overall project quality.
  • Good organisational, planning, and time-management skills, with a proven capacity to prioritise and perform time-sensitive tasks.

  • You will demonstrate an excellent understanding of composition, colours, typography and perspective.
  • You will demonstrate expert level skills in Adobe Photoshop manipulation and Illustrator and InDesign.
  • You will produce engaging and eye-catching visual solutions through all the communication channels.
