Senior Optimisation Manager

 

About the role

 

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our optimisation team in the role of Senior Optimisation Manager. The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid background in conversion optimisation and digital marketing through significant work experience in these fields. It is imperative that this person has a take-charge and can-do attitude, precise analytical skills, and a genuine desire to excel and exceed their goals. As Senior Optimisation Manager you will help to build and manage the digital marketing optimisation strategy and coordinate tests on multiple domains and channels to drive company's KPIs. 

The optimisation strategy will be created and approved alongside the Optimisation Team Lead and will be delivered through a mixture of solo, team and cross-department projects.  


The success of the role is dependent on a deep knowledge of Kindred Groups' markets, process and strategy  as well as building strong internal relationships to drive co-operation and collaboration, in addition to experience with 360 tactical delivery of digital marketing (site publishing, A/B testing, web analytics) and how this informs financial performance and marketing objectives). 

 

 

What will you be doing?

 

  • Work with local and central teams to optimise and support their digital marketing strategy and ensure the local delivery of the global strategy in a progressive way (lower costs / increasing turnover)
  • Drive digital marketing optimisation  through a combination of solo projects,  team and cross-department and agency collaboration
  • Manage full suite of A/B  tests  – collating requirements, prioritising and communicating results to the wider business teams
  • Make use ot A/B test results, Web Analytics, Customer Data and Financial Data to back up digital marketing optimisation proposals and measure success
  • Research and analyse data to identify optimisation opportunities
  • Make data available & produce insights to guide the daily conventions in website marketing
  • Oversee the user journeys per channel and market- proactively and continuously identify where improvements can be made and follow these through to implementation.
  • Connect with contemporary & new marketing platforms to improve acquisition and retention marketing efforts & to gain insight

What you will have done?

 

  • Ideally you would have significant Digital Marketing experience with conversion optimisation experience being essential
  • A passion for testing, data and UX that can inspire colleagues, wider teams and the business as a whole as to the capabilities of testing and the decisions it can support.
  • Creative, innovative and willing to turn ideas into reality
  • Highly organised by nature and proficient in multi-tasking; you see pressure as a challenge and work through problems in a logical manner, breaking down the complex into the achievable
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Knowledge of CRO and analytics tools i.e. Adobe Analytics, Optimizely, CrazyEgg.
  • Understanding of key financial metrics and how the 360 digital marketing mix contributes at each level.
