About the role


Key focus of the role is to provide effective strategic support, analysis and measurement to our markets identifying opportunities and gaps to help them deliver their brand objectives.  You will also be responsible for delivering effective brand management ensuring that all marketing and communication channels are integrated, cohesive and compelling and represent the brand objectives and revenue goals. 


What you will do


  • Create a clear vision for the team that will help redefine the value contribution that the Brand Management team can provide for the Kindred group
  • Work with Finance to define and agree the brand level performance and work with markets to localize KPIs
  • Develop and grow the Brand Management function and capability within Kindred to suit the requirements of internal stakeholders as well as our markets
  • Make strategic hires and build an effective team that will provide an effective, valuable, strategic and supportive service to our markets and internal clients
  • Maximize PR as a channel by identifying opportunities and creating initiatives for our brands globally and in local markets
  • Provide market level insights to help define opportunities and actionable initiatives
  • Overall responsibility for defining and developing the positioning for all of the brands in the Kindred portfolio
  • Ensure collaborate between Brand Managers and Experience Owners to ensure we deliver on the brand positionings across all Experiences
  • Overall responsibility for identifying opportunities for new brands and brands launching into new markets
  • Champion our multi-brand strategy by ensuring all customer communication touchpoints deliver the local market positioning and brand strategy
  • Ensure that all marketing and communication channels are integrated, cohesive and compelling and represent the brand objectives and revenue goals
  • Be a brand owner and guardian with a strong point of view and the ability to articulate this to the business
  • Work with the General Managers to develop relevant brand performance measures and ensure aligned objectives with the country teams
  • Ensure the benchmarking of Kindred's global success against the brand goals
  • Leading and developing a team across different geographical regions

What you will need


  • Proven ability to build, lead, manage and inspire a team
  • Experience of developing unique brand positioning's and strategies across multiple brands
  • Strategic thinking, creative problem solving, and analytical skills along with ability to execute
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way and to tailor key messages and presentation style to multiple audiences
  • You are comfortable working with people across the business in a collaborative manner. Adapting your style where relevant to gain buy-in to ideas.
  • Mindset of constant improvement. You should be passionate about building capability and developing yourself and others.
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team across different geographical locations
