Reporting to: Development Manager

The role

At Kindred we develop web sites and mobile applications for online gambling that are used by millions of customers across our many brands. Our development teams delivers new features on a daily basis, doing thousands of releases every year.

As a line lead at the Kindred Stockholm office you will be supporting software engineers and team leads from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about what they do. In this role you will be managing up to 12 individuals and supporting the teams they are working in. 

Your primary focus will be on the people and the culture of the Development department, helping both the individuals and the organisation grow.

 What you will do

• Be responsible for the growth and personal development of our team members
• Be someone who inspires, coaches and challenges each team member as needed
• Be part of a team of Line Leads that together with HR continuously evolve our culture and our development organisation
• Be a key factor in scaling our organisation by retaining competence and recruiting top talent for the teams
• Be collaborating with many parts of our organisation in order to improve our ways of working (QA, PO, Architects, Application Management etc.)
• Be the main support and an enabler for the development teams to ensure their daily work is always enjoyable

Your experience

• Several years of experience in leadership and people management
• Experienced at supporting others through coaching and mentoring and you always put the individual first
• Technical background in software development
• Lean and Agile organisations and work within a fast-paced environment
• You know how to build successful teams and how to inspire others
• A positive and pragmatic attitude that thrives on making others successful
