Sportsbook Competitive Intelligence Analyst

The Competitive Intelligence Analyst will play a central part of the Sportsbook Team and strengthen the business development function. You will be responsible for mapping out the competitive landscape and take ownership of Sportsbook product insight. In turn your work will seek to improve and assist our business decision making across commercial and product teams. The successful candidate has a good balance of analytical capability, as well as the skills to take ownership and drive initiatives. It is also necessary to have a very curious mindset, be outgoing and look for opportunities to press the boundaries. We are looking for someone that can move the needle and guide internal stakeholders with insight and action.

 

What you will be doing?

 

  • Scope, plan and execute investigations on the different sports betting products to assess their competitive abilities and identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Establish refined research methodologies, processes and routines to increase the industry and competitive intelligence capacity within Sportsbook.
  • Provide strategic insights on the competitiveness of our Sportsbook proposition in our core markets.
  • Own the Sportsbook data and reporting backlog. Gather internal data requirements and collaborate with our data teams on integrations and reporting improvements.
  • Map out customer profiles and segments to better understand the current trends in player behavior on our platforms.
  • Based on your market and product insight, take initiative and drive change through discussions with our commercial and Sportsbook stakeholders.
  • Monitor relevant suppliers and keep track of the relevant supplier-operator relations across the sports betting industry.

What have you done?

 

  • A great passion for sports and sports gaming products.
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced, multiple priorities and constantly evolving sports environment.
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done in tandem with participating in strategic discussions and decisions.
  • Excellent analytical skills. Superior problem solving and analysis skills, combined with strong business judgment and ability to communicate with the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships; an ability to identify and galvanize this complex web of relationships and dependencies to holistically solve problems and seize opportunities.
  • Talent for visualizing data and presenting it in a compelling way.
  • Comfortable to travel for meetings and assignments.
